Pip value is the monetary worth of a one-pip move in a currency pair. It depends on the pair, your lot size, and your account currency.

How is pip value calculated for gold (XAUUSD)?

For XAUUSD, one pip equals $0.10 (10 × the minimum point of $0.01), the contract size is 100 troy ounces, so pip value = 0.10 × 100 × lots = $10 per standard lot.
